There international long distance is seriously SUCKING right now. I tried to get on and use it and it wouldn’t let!!! I haven’t ever had problems with it before… anybody got some advice… besides call them?! I called them today and they spent 2 HOURS doing nothing except passing me from one person to the next til the guy finally said sorry I can’t help you!!! I mean come on it’s their website… They should be able to fix their own problem!! Right? It was just sorta crazy I thought…

Unfortunately, the Straight Talk phones will only work in the US. They will not work in any other country.

If my daughter, who lives in the United States, visits another country, can she use this plan and her Straighttalk phone to call the U.S.?

Per country rates are all different. Most are about 10 cents and under per min for the more “popular” countries.

ST international sounds reasonable. Does anyone know what the $10 package includes (how much per min, what countries are included) I suppose you can buy additional minutes online?

Great post. I just signed up for Straight Talk as well, and because I am frugal to the core, tried to find out if there were any ways to save on Refill cards. I did find a few ways to rack up some significant savings on refill cards. See my site for more info if you are interested…

As Straight Talk user its nice to see that I get a discount. It is also convenient to manage everything in one place. I can make the international calls from phones outside of the Straight Talk phones that I have.

Yes, it would be separate but prices are very reasonable. You can also try Rebtel which is great, better prices and you can make free calls to quite a few countries.

I am new at this cellphone game. Do I have it right that the international is separate to the unlimited plan or can international be deducted from the unlimited plan?

This is great news! I travel a lot because of my job and need a reliable service provider. I may look into getting a straight talk phone…does anyone know of any physical retailers?

$45 for unlimited calls, texts and data really is a sweet deal! that’s about $50 less than what a contract comes to each month…

I agree with Ivan that Straighttalk just gets better. I thought that they had reached the ultimate with the unlimited plan at $45 and then now there is this!
